You pretty much have it. Denim and flannel are obviously two kinds of fabric, and the reasonable assumption would be that the combination he wore took the form of a flannel shirt and denim pants (i.e. jeans). He didn&amp;#39;t know that I was the note-taker for the class . ( she supplied the class with her notes because    no one took notes? ) It doesn&amp;#39;t mean that no one else took notes, only that she always did because it was her job.
