For example, here are a few from the Episcopal church: &amp;quot;A Prayer for Those Suffering from Depression. For Our Country. For Social Justice. For Quiet Confidence. For the Departed. On the Anniversary of the Dedication of a Church. For Commerce and Industry.&amp;quot; And this is without mentioning the prayers specified for every Sunday of the year, for special feast days and saints&amp;#39; days, and on and on. These are prayers meant to be read as written, not extemporaneous prayers such as other Protestant denominations might offer on such occasions.
