Welcome to the Forum.
When you try to make an intelligent point and you walk over that fine line where you can make a fool of yourself is very wrong way to do it. Do that in business and you become a paria. Anyone can advice how one should behave in situations like this? A better vocabulary?
Perhaps this?
There is a fine line between making an intelligent point and making a fool of yourself. If you cross that line in business, you become a paria h . Does anyone have advice on how one should behave in situations like this?
Best wishes, Clive

The fine line

When you try to make an intelligent point and you walk over that fine line where you can make a fool of yourself is very wrong way to do it.
