Software localization goes far beyond text translation of the user interface. It involves extracting and preparing the translatable content, utilizing special software localization tools and adapting the software to the specific target language. We will design the interface to be more comfortable and friendly to users in different countries and regions by considering cultural norms and habits. We consider: time/date displays, measurement systems, numbers and currency, legal conventions, character encoding and fonts, as well as dropdown list of cities and areas.

What needs to be done for software localization?
1. Internationalization (i18n)/ Double-byte enabling
2. Localization of source code and files
3. User interface (font, layout, colors, languages etc.)
4. Final localization and functionality testing
What are our software localization procedures?
1. Localization Kit Review, Analysis and Preparation
2. Subject training and research
3. Glossary and Terminology Development
4. Cultural Correctness Assessment
5. Translation, Editing and Proofreading texts
6. Localization of all graphics and DTP works
7. QA/Testing according to client's requirements
