Which one is greater in your opinion - to love or to be loved? Because there are many people who feel just one part of this feeling (either are loving, or are being loved). Which one makes them happier?

i think being loved makes u happier , because u get that feeling that somebody care for u .

I got your point, Dew. Still, I feel that "to love" gives you energy to do the things you would not be able to do otherwise. Being loved and not feeling love yourself will not provide you with this. Though, in reality it is really great to be loved. Of course, the best thing on Earth is the mutual love.

It depends on a person. It's certainly more pleasant to be loved, but the best is when all these things come together.

It's great when the feeling is mutual. Still I am happy even when I love and get only respect in response. (it doesn't presuppose sex. I speak of that great feeling that is called LOVE)

Love is the most fantastic thing in the world. It can put someone in heaven or misery instead.

I would not regard my life since I had experienced a marvelous period with my girl friend. The time stopped and no one important than her in my eyes. We did not frustration, sad, pressure or any negative sentiments. I still feel enjoyable when I recall this wonderful memory.

We are used to discussing the topic of Love during the lesons (after reading the texts or seing a new film) and I really like what one of my pupils said in 2000^

Love hurts, still it's worth loving!

I have been in love only once in a lifetime... Feeling it, I have realized that all feelings before that (many times called "love" by myself) were just shadows. I felt that there is no other purpose in my life than to marry that woman.

Being in love means to love with all your heart and not expect to be loved either. Don't wait until somebody says to you: "I love you". Just love and everything else will come to its settlement

Love makes you so vulnerable, it opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.
You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you. Then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...
You give 'em a piece of you, even if they didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore.
Love takes hostages, it gets inside you, it eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness.
So simple a phrase like "maybe we should be just friends" turns into a glass spinter working its wat into your heart... It hurst, not just in the imagination, not just in the mind. It's a soulhurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-trips-you-apart pain... I hate love =/ But i'm still in love with a person who doesn't love me anymore =(
