 can I say such must always go with as? Yes, if you want to say this kind of thing: I ’m very thankful to have such a good friend    as  Susan. 
 However, as you probably realize, 'as' can be used in many dfferent ways, in other kinds of expressions. So can 'such', eg She is such a nice woman.  
 So be careful when you make general statements.

 I never expected as and like couldn't be interchanged.  （d）    Now, I am like his English teacher tutor.  Say either 'teacher' or 'tutor', but not both.  
 （e）    We share the same hobby too,  which  is reading.  
 （f）    We often go to the public library which is near my house to borrow some storybooks.   ok. 'Novels' is a better word to use.  
 （g）    I’m very thankful to have such a good friend  as  Susan.
