well i think you should let him know write him a letter and save up money aside from raising the baby, to take trips up there to show him his baby . Write him a letter and send him atleast $10 atleast once a month so he can call you up and talk to you and his child. Don't be affraid because im going through something similar and and im looking at the bright side in about two months i plan on visiting him. But he's working on a home pass now so im happy to see that hes atleast working to come out. So tell him don't hide it because if you hide it until you see him he's not going to just welcome you being pregnant with "open arms" hes going to have a list of questions.......GOOD LUCK and stay strong for your child!!!

I wish I knew what to write also. I am in just about the same boat except my boyfriend did not commit the crime. My lawyer told us we could only write letters pertaining to his character. He's caring, loving, generous, etc. Maybe that helps for you.

wow. im really sorry for what your going through right now. i can see it might be hard. you need to have a big talk with the judge. tell him your pregnet and youneed help. This is a big issuse.i have a boyfriend and we fight alot . When you and your boyfriend fight you get mad.rightt?.

well pertend your boyfriend is the judge and yell at himm.

What you just wrote is a good start! If he has confessed then you could say that. Honesty helps. If he is pleading innocent you don't want to incriminate him, but seriously, that sounded perfect. Does he have a plan for how to stay out of trouble? I would mention that and say that you will be there to support him. Good luck. I am in almost your same boat. Be strong.

Maybe I can help. My boyfriend is in jail as well and he has been in and out of jail for almost half of our relationship. It never really got to me before but then i found out also i was pregnant.. I know how you are feeling. im sorry about everything. I dont know if I can help but hopefully you do okay and if you are pregnant good luck with the baby.. if u want this baby, KEEP IT.. because I have had many people tell me otherwise and it only makes u feel worse. it made me do something i regret.. aborting the baby... anyways hopefully u get this... i would post my email but im not too sure about the whole thing with everyone seeing it.. so good luck.

You seem to be able to use words fairly well, so your letter should sound intelligent in that area. You should point out his good characteristics, be detailed and use examples to show what you mean when you say he is a good person. You also mention his hard life. Give examples of this. Try to demonstrate that he has changed since his arrest. Talk about hings he might have said or done to show his remorse. At the end, try to convince the judge that your new family will be a major factor in changing his behavior. He should agree with everything you say, chances are, the judge will ask him about the things you say.

I suggest you contact a good lawyer. Writing such documents on one's own is very difficult for a layperson.

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO SAY TO THE JUDGE ON MY BOYFRIEND'S BEHALF. HE WENT TO JAIL ON SUNDAY FOR SOME MAJOR CHARGES AND HE'S LOOKING AT MAJOR TIME IN JAIL/PRISON.
