neversaynever a similar thing happened to me too. i don't think it is stupid lady sigh, but it is stupid.

I did lots of stupid things when I was a child and I'll mention just one of them....Okay. Have you watched a very old program called"Treasure Hunt"? well, it was my favorite program and i really like the idea of searching for a treasure. It made me believe that i might find a treasure one day. So I was always preparing for myself to go on a trip to search for the treasure and my favorite spot was the backyard. My digging tool was a spoon; I just used the spoon to dig a hole hoping to find a treasure chest left by my ancenstors^^"". I kept doing this for a year or two and I only found big worms and I even damaged the backyard because of the digging^^"".

What do you think of that??Stupid, right?

Hmm.. Let's see, this one is a classic! What about walking through the door which is made of glass by assuming that there is no door, in a restaurant? The result is obvious isn't it? A big crash, and a noise, and a pain I felt on my nose... I was 8 or 9 years old when this happened but I can never forget this embarresing moment.. Everybody was laughing, that caused a psychological damage on me..

I'll continue to add some other things If I remember..

Here is the explanation from a real psychologist (almost).. this situation can be explained only in one aspect.. that is, just a confusion! Very scientific, eh?

I am not Sigmur Freud but I can have a guess of what Golden has!

It's normal to react the way Golden does since he is talking to a person he respects somehow. Am I on the right way? Lets continue..When you are talking to a person who you don't know much, you get nervous sometimes and those nerves can disappoint you sometimes by making you say what you don't want, normally you say what you were thinking in that moment..(helpppp!!)

In my case, I wasn't nervous..lol, I don't know what happened!

lol doll i'm sure you must have blushed after YL's reply.
pucca i often get confused with directions and i say left when i want to go to right(i kind of good to know there someone like me)
i know what you both mean, something similar happened to me when i was in my intermediate and our teacher was teaching subject-verb agreements and she suddenly asked me to give an example. my reply was:

i said "x loves x"
(but it must have sounded like "x loves sex")
every one in the class laughed. i felt so embarrassed
