well the thesis statement is a sentence on what you are trying to prove in your research paper. and from what you have posted, it is a fact. a thesis statement should not be a fact...im doing a research paper right now on steroids and i am having a hard time thinking of a thesis statement for it

Hi,. I'm writing an essay on if drug tests should be allowed in schools. i have good pts such as: if student athletes can not obey a simple contract at the beginning of a sports season, how are they going to obey the laws in the real world. my second pt is drug tests would lower the danger of drugs, but i believe i could make that stronger pt. Finally, if drug tests were mandator, more students would stop doing drugs because they would know their consequences. However, somehow, i want to put soemthing about peer pressure and the thought of good role models that would keep securti for the school. Can you please give me some pointers for my essay. Thanks lots.

this thesis is headed in the right direction. Be specif about what drugs you are testing for. maybe try something along the lines of; "All athlets should be required to pass a drug test for <blank> before each sporting event to insure a level plaing field.

it isn't quite clear if your talking about illegal substances like marajuana or steroids.

I am an English teacher who regularly marks theses.

I would prefer the following:

All athletes should be required to undergo a drug test prior to participating in a sporting event to ensure a level playing field for all competing athletes.

I, too am writing a thesis paper on "performance-enhancing drugs in sports" and having a difficult time finding enough supporting information to persuade someone why drugs should be allowed in sports. Hi I have a little problem with my steroid essay hop you guys could help me. I am writing about ababolic steroids and I have no idea on my thesis. Please help me find a thesis.
