This is the reply which i got from the professor.

"before I can proceed further, I have to contact the Office of International Affairs of my university. This institution is in charge to check whether your achievements with regard to your MSc are sufficient to be accepted as a Ph.D student at our University or not. Please send all the necessary documents (Details and certificates about BSc and MSC!) â otherwise I canÂ´t proceed.)

Before I donÂ´t know their decision, it makes no sense to send you a letter of acceptance.

And please remember: I canÂ´t provide a grant. If you are interested to work in my group you have to find your own support.

Please check wether you are eligible for a grant from your country or a grant from Germany"

The best way to build vocabulary is to read, read, read. The best way to prepare for the TOEIC is to take practice exams, which can be found in bookstores and on the internet. Practice books for the TOEIC vocabulary are also available.

I wolud like to know how to improve english vocabulary. Actually I have learnt my school in my mother tongue only. In my college though I have studied in English it is mainly oriented in subject wise only. Now I want to go for higher studies. For this I need to improve my English. Daily I am reading newspaper and practing the difficult word which I find in that. I have to prepare for TOEFL exam. I would be happy if you suggest me any way to improve further my English. I am sorry for be a bore. I am now applying for PhD position in abroad. I would request you to kindly help in my process.

Here is my another letter to one Graduate school. Actually I had applied to one professor. He asked me to apply in Graduate program. As per the website,

the deadline is over by mar 17. But in the same site it is mentioned as " Applications will be accepted until the position is filled".

So I am going to apply for this program as the professor asked to apply.

So I have written letter to Graduate school saying that I have sent the application along with all documents with conventional mail (that is by post).

But as the deadline is over, I am sending mail also.

One more thing , as per application form I have to submit my TOEFL score. But I am planning to write my TOEFL exam in April end.

I would request you to give suggestion to write a separate letter mentioning that I am scheduled my TOEFL in April end in polite manner.

I am sorry, but I don't know what you mean by 'proof'-- do you mean 'professor' or 'translation' or...? I have presumed 'professor' and edited your letter in that belief; if it is otherwise, you will have to amend my edits.

I decided at the age of 18 that I wanted to be a scientist. I actually have a passion for chemistry, and I have chosen this field because I believe I can excel in it. My desire is to pursue my PhD degree, and I am intent on finding a program that is internationally oriented, allowing me to broaden my horizons, develop my awareness and further my career goals, a program which will expose me to multicultural experiences and multi-disciplinary perspectives in current research.

I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Madurai Kamaraj University. As a class leader and University third-rank holder, I decided to pursue my M.Phil in Chemistry. However, I had to quit the program after [one year? 20 credit hours?] because of family problems: as the eldest child in my family, I needed to find immediate work in order to fulfill my family responsibilities. I opted for a medicinal chemistry position, based on chemistry and biology.
