The book about magic says: Before using them in magic stones should be "charged" or "programmed" with energy.

In the texts there are many sentences in which the author uses the word "empower". I think empower means the same as "charge" or "programme"

Two examples:

1.Hold a moonstone, empower it with loving vibrations, and give it to your troubled mate.

2. Red stones can be empowered and used to overcome sexual dysfunctions..

Do you think that "empower" can mean the same as "charge" or "programme" in the two sentences above?
