Anyway, I cleaned up your letter somewhat. It might not be perfect, but it is better than it was.

MountainHiker

I was recently sworn in as American citizen but my husband still lives in country X, my country of origin. I would like to have my husband visit me for the holidays. My son who is in the Navy consulted with people at the National Visa Center and they informed him that it is not important that I filed an immigrant visa petition for my husband since he is only visiting for couple of months.

Also, I am enclosing copies of the nonimmigrant visa application and my husband's passport showing the stamp by one of the consular in the embassy. I am asking you to use your good office to help me so that my husband can be granted a visitor’s visa.

Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.

Sincerely yours,

You.

I know that you’re not a member of the judiciary committee but you equally for the overall quality of life for the men, women, and families of the United States. - This sentence is only clutter.
