After a quick look ,the way my teacher and essay books say that an essay has a structure .
And topic sentences.
The structures generally of an essay are:

Introduction
Body
Conclusion
You can look in google for "five paragraph essay"until I'll find you a specific good example.
I think the place where are you learning should provide you with (model essay) more information on essay
struture,connectives to connect paragraphs and make the essay flow(similiar to driving a car)
and topic sentence.There is different essay types such as Argumentative essay,normal essay...The other thing to concider when writing essays is if you can use first person prounouns,formal ,informal language.

Please integrate the information at the end of your essay in a paragraph,give fewer example.
Your first draft looks good,but it need more cutting and pasting to look like an essay.
I'll give quick example of a topic sentence.
(Introduction)Please don't write introduction ,just introduce your topic
There is different English language schools in Emirate.Students choose the best language school for them depend firstly on the course cost,secondly teachers profile and finally transportion
(Topic sentence 1)
Cost (As you notice in T.S.1 you'll talk about cost only in this paragraph)
(Topic sentence 2)
Teachers profile(paragraph)
(Topic sentence 3)
transportation(Paragraph)
In conclusion or in summary,you can write either of these(sum up briefly what you said in you essay,don't introduce new ideas)

You can have a look at Nawal thread cause there is some suggestion on essay writing.But be careful don't change it to argumentative essay if the teacher doesn't want to.

Simple past: I went home. (It is finished and done with; the action is in the historical past.)

Present perfect: I have gone home at 8 pm every night this week; I haven't gone home yet. (There is potentiality for completing the action in the present or future; it is not finished and done with.)

How do you do aaron? I am a new english forums user too & I read your letter about your essay. My opinion on your essay is well done, but some what you are focused on only the advantage of learning the languege as you says on its native land. By the way the massage is agreable but I say you should explain the possiblity of learning the languege out of its native place then compare with that. To conclude my view when you compare two or more things try to explain the advantage & diadvantage of each then judge which one is the best way. Hi friends,

this is the first time i write in this forum. IÂ´m venezuelan and intending to take the IELTS test, so i wanted to write an essay in this forum and get your opinios about it.

People attend university or college for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? use specific reasons and examples to support your answers.

Colleges and universities are places on which students attend in order to learn or increase their knowledge on a determined field and develop a career that will help them to improve their lives. The main reasons for which people attend colleges and universities are going to be explained in this essay.

First of all, students enrol in university courses to develop a career, find a good job, high salaries, and increase their possibilities of a better lifestyle. Others who already have a professional background enrols in university courses such as PhDs or Master degrees to increase their knowledge on a specific field, improve their performance at work and obtain higher benefits from the profession they already have.

A second reason for which students attend university is to learn to survive by themselves. University is the first experience with the world and some students have to move to a new city or country in order to attend to class, in such cases they must get used to the customs, transport system and some times language of the new place they are going to live in. They have to learn how to live in harmony in campus too, most of the times they have to share their room with a roommate, and there are some rules to be followed in order to respect each roommate rights.

Campus life could turn really hard for those that have lived with their parents their entire lives, students have to organize their time in order to get all their obligations and assignments done without their parents support.

In summary, I think that universities and colleges are a challenging experience for those that want to develop a professional career and learn all the things that campus life involve. Actually I am thinking of moving to Australia to enrol in a telecommunications course at Monash university to increase my knowledge in that field, improve my English and get immersed on aussie customs and lifestyle. In my opinion graduation is a challenging goal which makes us feel proud of ourselves and makes us change our lives for better.

hello .i think that its better for you read as muchb as you can.like this you will enrich you vocabulary and also to ameliorate yourself in dictation that is to say to engrain in your mind how words are written .this is the first step.then comes the listening activities.you have to listen to native speakers .

A postscript to my last entry. Aaron, Dictionary.com, which I've just visited for the first time, gives quick and no-fuss explanations of 'its' and 'it's'.
