I cannot understand how a town hall can be broadcast/broadcasted. Was is the past tense in your "sentence". Both broadcast and broadcasted are correct as past participles. CB

Wowenglish, The difference is only tense-wise: Past Continuous versus Past Simple. Since having one job of another is more of a state than an action, I'd recommend using the Past Simple tense (shared a job). Anton
