The word laugh is either a noun or a verb, never an adjective or adverb. If it follows a possessive pronoun (which could be substituted with the definite article) it must be a noun. Words with the "ly" suffix are adverbial.

Harry wished he could forget what he'd seen in the Mirror of Erised as easily, but he couldn't. This sentence is correct with as omitted. Then what is the function of "as"? Is it used as an emphasis on the adverb? Thanks in advance.

You should delete the indefinite article in the second and third sentences. - "pharmacologically active" = adverb + adjective (i.e. there is no noun)- "inert" = adjective (i.e. there is no noun)

What does it mean? "She/he loves me still"

 I know that this STILL is not such meaning as in the adverb STILL: 'at this or that time; as previously' or 'up to this or that time; as yet' No, at all!  So, what does such a phrase including STILL mean?
