Pessimistic, unenthusiastic, gloomy sentences?Sorry, only joking. 'Negative sentences' is the only (common) term normally used in grammar textbooks, as far as I know.

But I have been learning English for seven years and I have never seen this type of uses ,,in all grammar books I have read there was no uses of "a lot of " in negative sentence is given in the grammar books . This was a strict rule " a lot of " is on ly used in affirmative sentences..
