In American English^x, Word order^x

Sounds a bit poetic, because of the unusual word order. The more commonly used spoken form would be simply: "I was late because I didn't get up early enough." And I think B would be valid in British English, but in North American English, "got" would be incorrect. It should be "gotten".

I'd say "He has already eaten his dinner" (note the word order).He already ate his dinner would be common in (colloquial?) American English.
