By British English, Gerunds

I've heard this many times in the American English. I think it's just a spoken expression and I'm not sure if it's used in the British English as well. BTW: You can also use a Gerund to form such sentences: I'm really into swimming. I'm really into watching TV. I'm really into playing soccer.
