Do not end a salutation with an exclamation mark. In US English use a colon :, in British English use either a comma or nothing.

As you are already aware, Football Club “Shahter”(Donetsk) is about to build a new 5-star stadium, which meets all official UEFA requirements and will have no euqual anyway in the Ukraine. The new tender process has been completed and we are glad to invite you to provide the services of General contractor.

Your second paragraph is not clear. Is the company you are writing to making the presentation? How can you invite them to something they are doing themselves? Are you inviting the contractor along to a presentation being organised by the football club? Do you want the contractor to give a presentation at this meeting? At the moment you are mixing up all these ideas and it doesn't make sense.

FC «Shahter» takes upon itself all the travel expenses including transfer, meals, and accommodation.

Thank you in advance.
Looking forward to your reply.
Re: Comma Use

Hello Sean

In British English, which is my dialect, there's no requirement to use the comma and period in a salutation. You can style a letter as follows, if you wish:

Dear Tony

Please return both copies of the contract by first thing tomorrow, signed and dated, as agreed during our discussions earlier today.

Yours sincerely

Gordon

(I also prefer the commaless stopless version, because the comma suggests a pause to me, and the full stop a longer pause. But if I said "Hello Anon", I wouldn't pause. But that said, your styling looks fine to me too.)

MrP

Three questions

Three quick questions which I hope someone will be able to answer, in the context of a British English business letter:

1. Ought the date on a letter to be left or right aligned if the home address heading is right aligned?

2. Should a subject line fall before or after the salutation? I read in the forum that the consensus appears to be that the subject should follow the salutation, but this seems slightly strange when viewed on the page.

3. What should be the signature line be in the case of multiple signatories? If the signatures and names are listed line by line, should they be followed at the end by a line of text describing the capacity of the signatories?

Many thanks in advance!
