Need advice to improve my writing style

Hi,

I am a non-native English speaker and need some tips on improving my professional writing style. My job involves writing analysis of various economic and financial events and my career growth is in jeopardy as my writing style is not as professional as my English speaking colleagues.

To explain you about my level of English writing, I have easily passed exams like TOEFL and IELTS, and comfortable with different grammar rules.

My problem is I get stuck with sentences which I have never constructed before. I donât understand how to explain a situation in sentences that are easy to understand but donât sound awkward.

As for my efforts to improve my writing, I have tried two methods:
1. Writing a page on some topic everyday.
2. Noting down unfamiliar sentence constructions in whatever I read.

The problem I found with the first method is the review of what I write. I donât know anybody who can review my writing for me everyday.

With respect to the second method, I have collected 70-80 pages of unfamiliar/ new sentence constructions so far ( in a Word document). However, I donât know how to leverage this database. I canât read all of it in one setting, and just use the collection to look up for examples.

Could you please suggest me some methods that can help me in improving my professional writing?

Dear Mister Director of registration,

After a French baccalaureat STT, I directed myself towards architecture, my passion, and I obtained my diploma of the first cycle of the studies of architecture, the DEFA.

This basic training enabled me to acquire a good knowledge of architecture and the manner of designing the buildings in a french way.

My African origins had already allowed me to attend the construction of traditional houses.
I would like now, while studying in a Canadian university, to widen my knowledge with North-American architecture and more precisely with the Canadian architecture which is different from that of France on many points.

At the time of my passage to "Pacific Gateway International College of Toronto" I had the honor to see me awarded as an " exceptional student".
I obtained the TOEFL as I passed to Toronto (Canada).

I think of having the necessary level to carry out a second cycle of studies in Canada and the portfolio attached should support my request favorably.

My final ambition is to return to work in my country of origin and for this reason I would like to be able to bind in a harmonious way the richness of indigenous traditional construction to the audacity of American architecture.
