Dear Madam or Sir,

my name is ** ** and I am studying Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Applied Sciences ***(name)**, **(country)**. I am writing this letter to apply for admission for the Study Abroad program at the **(name)** University of Technology, Australia.

I finished my basic studies back in year 2007 and my 7th semester is supposed to be either a practical training or a Study Abroad semester. I have chosen to apply for one semester at your University in **(city)**.

Having the chance of studying abroad and becoming an engineer have always been the most ambition in my life since young. I like to face the challenges of living in a foreign country and to gain cross-cultural competence. I think that one semester abroad will help me learn how to adapt to a foreign culture, mentality and way of life which in my opinion are very important for broadening one's horizon.

I have never been to Australia before but I know from fellow students that Australians are very open and friendly people. The ** television shows your beautiful countryside and the multicultural appearance of most big cities like **(city)**. So I chose the country wich is the most furthest away from my homeland.

But the reason for choosing especially the ** University for my studies is based on its academic reputation and as well on the offering of courses it provides, which perfectly suit my interests. I also know from your Study Abroad Guide 2008 that the ** University is a very international university, so I would have the opportunity to meet many students from different backgrounds and cultures.

One semester in Australia will also be a great opportunity to improve my English skills. Since graduating from secondary school I regularly read English texts in newspapers, books or on the Internet, but I did not regularly have chances to talk to native speakers. As I am planning to work abroad after my graduation and, as a manager, I would like to be able to speak fluently in conversations.

With my academic background and relevant studying field, I am confidence that I am qualify and able to perform well in this program. I really hope that my application for the Study Abroad program 2008 will be allowed.

Usually the institutions writes down in the ad whether they need the translation into English or not. Most of the empoyers don't need them in a earlier stage of the procedure. I would write an e-mail and aks them or just call them. As I was unsure about the call of the European Commission, I phoned them and the conversation was very pleasant. It turns out that my assumption was right but I was much better to hear a voice saying the same.

    I researched the courses in business administration nationwide, using the internet, other students' opinions, in-depth talks with student advisors in both Osnabrueck and Gelsenkirchen, and finally a conversation with one of your staff, Mr. Gerhard Mueller, and am convinced that your course of studies matches my interests perfectly.

    I am 29 years old and have been traveling for most of the past ten years. Initially my interests were in self development, paired with a strong fascination for my surroundings. Working in a team, or playing in a team, for that matter, has always been my approach to problem solving. I take great pride in my ability to emphasize with people around me and have been successful and welcomed by my former employers and colleagues. Having gathered professional experience worldwide and in many, most different fields, I have developed a strong personality and a good understanding of business, resulting in the firm wish to study business administration.

    Currently I am enrolled in a course called "International Business Law and Management" in Recklinghausen. Since I am far more attracted to the topic of business than law and furthermore longing to take a course that is in English entirely, I would like to change to your course this summer. My name is RUSMANA. With this letter, I would like to introduce my candidature as a staff of Legal and Organization Bureau of Ministry of Marine Affair and Fisheries (MMAF) Republic of Indonesia, who is applying for the LLM Programme at University of Erasmus.

I graduated with a law degree in International Law from Faculty of Law, University of Padjadjaran in August 2000. During my study, I was imparted plenty of public international law knowledge, including international law, diplomatic and consular law, international treaty law, international organization law, the law of international regional organization, air and space law, international settlement of dispute law, international law of the sea, and many subjects on international law. At the end of my study, I write a minor thesis entitle: âLegal overview in the possibility of implementation of the rights of land-locked States and geographically disadvantaged States to exploits the natural resources in the exclusive economic zone of Indonesiaâ.

Currently I have been working with the Legal and Organization Bureau of MMAF for 3 years. I would like to engage in master program in the field of public international law because that field of study is the most relevant with my scope of work. Our bureau has responsible such facilitation and coordination in arranging, analysing, and establishing the regulations and provisions, legal system information, legal documentation, legal consultation, developing national and/or international law of the sea, and international cooperation in the the field of marine and fisheries. In order to implement that duty mentioned especially in developing national and international law of the sea, and international cooperation, our bureau and/or ministry need such legal experts who could handled any kind legal matters related to international law.

I believe I could implement my knowledge and experiences that I obtained as long as I study in Erasmus University to support and give contributions to bureau and ministry in order developing legal issues, regulations policies, and international cooperation. Hi I've added some initial comments in red. Sort out the structure and post up another draft for help with the final version. Why are you using a capital I for the word incentives throughout?

I write to you to apply for the study course "International Tourism Management". I look at this study as a wide qualification to my present education in the job-training (this part does not make sense) for event manager / IHK. What is event manager/IHK?

This education (are you talking about the course you wish to take or the course you are already taking, I'm not sure what you mean from here onwards takes place in the binary system and encloses (takes not encloses) two years. The practical work in at the agency *** close to Frankfurt forms the main focus and is completed by the vocational school. The agency *** is an agency for *** and carries out events and Incentives for economic enterprises (do you mean companies) worldwide.

In the first steps of an arrangement does not make sense we are occupied with the Research, the budget and the development of the program on site. The task is to approximate (wrong word, not sure what you mean) the land and the culture to the participant as well as to make the product experience able (not sure what you mean by able. . At the organization of the arrangement, consisting of a huge number of single factors, we are demanded as a team to lead this to success. It does to me fun in the team (Rephrase- possibly 'I enjoy working in a team..) to develop something and to see how a project originates (~word choice) from communication. At my work I pursue a purpose which I have always in front of my eyes and want to achieve by structure and careful planning.

By My? experiences in my occupation and travelling in different lands determined my wish to develop my knowledge in this branch area or field. Great Britain (Should be The UK) as a strong economic nation persuades (wrong word) me as a study place. I see an international study for myself in the today's time as a chance for new perspectives and possibilities. The combination of event and tourism is for me after detailed own enquiries and conversations the right step in my following education phase re-phrase.
