Earlier this year McCain, said that he would now vote against, his own bill and instead give priority to building a fence along the Mexican border before dealing with the status of illegal immigrants.

McCain had previously picked up the majority of Hispanic votes in Senate campaigns in the state of Arizona but now he is falling behind. On February 5th he picked up only 22 per cent of the Latino vote, while Obama picked up 28 percent of the votes.

Obama will be able to count on the support of Bill Richardson, who is Hispanic and the governor of New Mexico. Even though Obama won a larger share of the Hispanic vote in only three states – Connecticut, Illinois and Virginia, he is not as weak among Hispanics as some people believe. He has spent more on Spanish language ads than any other candidate.

Article #2) In Obama’s Pursuit of Latinos, Race Plays Role, by Adam Nagourney and Jennifer Steinhaur, January 15, 2008, http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/15/us/politics/15hispanic.html?_r=1&sq=In%20Obamalogin&scp=1&adxnnlx=1214660780-4hDFV8f9lISiJnWn6YfSJA

Obama is doing better than anyone imagined at this point, but he does have room to grow. O bama’s sizable lead has surprised Democratic strategists after a primary campaign that appeared foreshadow Latinos as a major weakness.

Recent poll have indicated that Obama leads McCain among Hispanics, 47 percent to 22 percent with 26 percent understand. Still, Obama, who us trying to become the first black president, doesn’t have a lock on the Hispanic vote. During the Democratic primary, Hispanic preferred rival Hillary Rodham Clinton to Obama by nearly 2-to-1.The Obama campaign recently hired a press spokesman to work full time on Spanish- language media.

Obama does not speak Spanish, but campaign aides said that the Puerto Rico ad showed that he could master pronunciation by rehearsing the script, McCain and Obama have both supported plans that include an eventual path to citizenship for the estimated 12 million immigrants who are illegally in the country.

Article # 3) Obama needs to secure Hispanic vote before general election, by Kevin Sieff, June 7, 2008, http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/news/general_87485___article.html/obama_hispanic.html

Barack Obama and John McCain are both trying to win the votes of the Hispanic race. The Hispanic vote is very crucial in the presidential election because it’s a constantly growing population. The candidates recently spoke separately to a Hispanic group in Washington about the need for comprehensive reform to bring the country’s 12 million illegal immigrants out of the shadows.

Obama seems like a definite change with new ideas; John McCain seems to be old- fashioned as far as a lot of his views go. Because of those old- fashioned views, it might affect the way he view Hispanics.

McCain told elected Hispanic officials that he knew the issues because he came from a border state and that fixing the country’s broken immigration system will be his top priority. Obama accused McCain of walking away from immigration reform.

Both Obama and McCain support a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.

References

Nagourney, A. & Steinhaur, S.
It has been known to me that a gerund can function as a noun and should or likely to be treated more as an uncountable noun than a countable noun.

Mixing of sugar and flour makes this dough ...

If you want to be specific, I think you could write:

The mixing of sugar and flour makes this dough ...

If you want to indicate the mixing being an instance of it or an example of it, you could write (I think) like this:

A mixing of sugar and flour makes this dough ...

It could be more clear if you write this though (but the above example seems to be correct grammatically too):

An instance of sugar and flour makes this dough ...

It has been to me that a quoted content (I may be wrong but what I call a quoted content is one that has quotation marks around it, whether or not they are done to quote someone's words or to highlight a word/words) can be treated an uncountble noun too.

"-ing" is not needed in your sentence. -- Just the mention of a case to highlight, I think.

The "-ing" is not needed in your sentence. -- Not just mentioning but specificallymentioning, I think.

A "-ing" is not needed in your sentence. -- An example of "-ing" use or an instance of "-ing" use, but this is what gives me trouble. I think whether a word in quotation marks can accommodate an indefinite article is predicated on whether its semantic meaning can embrace it.

So, I think I would be able to say, depending on words, some words that are in quotation marks can accommodate its having an indefinite article, whereas some words that are in quotation marks can't accommodate the use because its semantic meaning and how it is used in sentences make it awkward at best if not wrong to have an indefinite article. Sounds plausible?

I've highlighted anything that raised questions.

Start Your Financial Planning Now!

Your Financial Future Depends On It!

Financial planning is easier and funny more enjoyable?? when you make your own plan.

It doesn’t matter your age never is No matter what your age, it's never too soon or too late to make your financial plan, but now undoubtedly is better than later. Our free financial planning advice comprehends tools, selected information and resources to guide your steps as you build your financial plan. ¡You just need to start!

But, what’s the rush? Pay attention please:

Recent researches have shown that if you are from earth are there people here reading this who many not be?? there’s a 99% probability that you lived or will live experiences I'd say there's a 100% probability we'll have "experiences" such as: Say something like "The vast majority of us will experience at least one, if not several, of the following." Keep them parallel (-ing words to start each one), don't use commas, and do NOT end with etc., etc., etc. You may want to group them - family ones together, education/professional ones together. By the way, what about paying for a child's wedding? In the US, that's a pretty major expense too!

· Obaining a master's degree and/or doctorate,

Getting marriede

This tone is offensive. I don't need to be told that I need money to pay for something, and the sarcasm, so freely acknowledged, would cause me say "screw this" and stop reading.

If the fear arises when you’re thinking about these issues, you are not alone. I was so scared that I didn’t want to get married until achieve financial security. Fortunately I heard about the benefits of financial planning and understood that:

financial security is not achieved overnight,

is a personal process, and

the sooner and better you’re organized, the shorter the process <strike>is shorter</strike>

When we started our family financial planning my bride and I wanted to do it independently to avoid receiving biased advice<strike>s</strike> and because, as CPAs, we thought we would be <strike>were </strike>able to do it. This decision gave us enough flexibility in our planning but also forced us to research and select tons of information. Anyway, we had to talk to a tax specialist and an insurance broker but they were timely advices because we had clear where we wanted to go.

We enjoyed a lot our financial planning because we had a dream and knew what to do to make our dreams come true. Now that’s the challenge we live with a lot of faith and hope and because we know that every step we take is worthwhile.
