Further to our conversation, we noticed that you will send the sample to Mr. Chan for his approval before the mass production inspection on Sept 3rd. Please advise when will you send the sample, as there are only 9 working days left. Please note that we cannot perform the inspection if no sample has been received.

Could you please advise us of the mass production start date? We need to plan our schedule for the inspection during this peak season. Even though it is a preliminary schedule, it would be very helpful for us, as Rosanna also advised on August 10th. We look for your prompt reply.

Please explain to me what the following lines mean as simple as possible, it is taken from a catalogue for an instrument (Scintillation System)

"The robust rack sample changer will accommodate either 336 standard vials or 448 miniature vials (depending upon the version)"

The Instrument counts per minute (cpm). The standard quench monitor is the IC#. Data can be normalized and blanks and\or backgrounds can be subtracted.Percent of reference can be calculated.

Say:
It is too late to start production on May15. The shipment due date is May 15, and it is a new model that requires in-line inspection. Please push the production start date back to May 10 because it is necessary to send a ten piece sample to the customer, allow time for the customer to approve and send back to you to put on the production for inspection. If any problem occurs when production begins, please reschedule and notify us ASAP.

1,000 pcs of PD128 were inspected yesterday and there is one point need your verification, as earphone jack is black and does not match the golden sample (silver colored). After checking our records, we found that the silver (metal) phone jack was changed to black (plastic) at the end of 2006. However, we did not update the golden sample, which remained as per the 2006 version, and caused the inspector confused

We apologize for the error and would like to send a new sample for your approval, signature and return to the factory as the inspection reference for the future. An updated ECN report will be sent to your Engineering Dept ASAP.

Meanwhile, could you please release the shipment, so that we can meet the vessel closing on May 29?

1. We are sorry to advise you that because of gift boxes some materials are short and there is a consequent delay from the factory. We are unable to meet the latest shipment date on 25 May, and would like to request a shipment extension to June 05. The goods will be ready on May 26, and can catch the vessel with ETD June 05. Would you please confirm your acceptance by return email? Please also amend the letter of credit to us ASAP.

2. The material shortage is not an excuse to delay the shipment. We asked for this schedule two weeks ago and there should be enough time for you to prepare the materials. We will try to request an shipment extension from the customer, and confirm it with you later. We checked with our customer, they accepted the shipment extension to the end of May. Please follow up with your supplier to keep to the agreed-upon schedule. If you cannot keep to this schedule, it must be shipped by air at your expense. Finally, please confirm when you will send the shipment sample to us.

It is too late to start mass production on May 25. The shipment due date is May 15, and this is a new model that will require an in-line inspection. Please push the mass production start-date ahead to May 10. This is necessary so that the 10 pcs shipment sample can be sent to the customer for approval and sign off.

sign back 1 pc to you put on the production line for inspection question. (Not clear what you meanu!!)

If there are problems when the production begins, please reschedule with us ASAP.
