Hi there,

I would like to ask for some help on my letter. Just two days ago I got back from Madrid where I had a job interview with so called âheadhunterâ. I was asked for a second interview with the end company unfortunately I got back to my country before I found the invitation in my email box... I really care for this job offer. I can't go back to Spain too soon because of some things which I have to accomplish here, in my country (I need at least two weeks for it). I would like to write a letter to the headhunter person with explanation of this problematic situation and ask to wait patiently :) Please, could anyone help me to have this letter written nicely and without mistakes? Thank you very much in advance!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I really appreciate it. Just one more thing, do you thing I should mention about part time lecturer because I never mention it in my application letter.

The main purpose I want to apply for part time job is because I like to teach people. It makes me remember things better especially things that related to my work (I only teaching subject that related to my work). After all, because of the nature of my job, I have a lot of free time.

Dear teachers and friends,

The scenario is like this. I just joined the Company ABC and still in training. Yesterday I received an email from University XYZ. They asked me whether Iâm available for the interview.

I really want the position as a part time which I donât mentioned it while I writing email to them. Hopefully they can schedule the interview while Iâm on leave because Iâm working on shift. And hopefully, while Iâm on off day, I can teaching there as a part time lecturer.

Here is the email from her and my draft. Your kind advice in this matter would be most appreciated.

Dear Hampeh,

I am writing with regard to your application for a lecturing position at University of ABC.

I would like to invite you over for an interview next week. Will Thursday 11th September, 10 am be convenient for you?

Thank you very much for your kind response and invitation to be interviewed. I am very interested in the position your offer.

Unfortunately, when I returned to Germany last week after two months in Spain, I found that I am now facing a large backlog of tasks here to accomplish, and I am simply unable to return to Madrid until the second or third week of October. This would also be the earliest time that I could begin work if you were to employ me. Would it be possible at all for me to have an initial interview via the internet before that time?

Pretty much. When one thing happens, a lot of other things happen with it. It doesn't have to be negative stuff though - you could be looking for a job for a long time, and then you get three invitations to interview in the same week.

My name is Fedorov Sergey. During four years of working on different IT projects I have started to believe that management consulting is what Russian manufacturers really need. Consulting is definitely the career I want to pursue and I am writing to request an invitation to interview for a business analyst position.

As a University engineer/manager undergraduate, I developed an analytic, creative mind geared towards solving complex problems. I applied and enhanced my problem solving skills as technical specialist and project engineer at Indusoft Company where I focused on analyzing production, consulting on the use of information technologies and contributing to IT Strategy realization.

At the age of 15 I started to learn about customer relationships leading my own shop. Working as presales manager I have gained valuable experience of working effectively at all levels of an organization â with client production specialists, managers and senior executives. I see consulting as a way of constant personal performance improvement and new skills development.
