Pls edit my motivation letter for master course !it's so urgent

Hi all!
I have to write a motivation letter to apply for MMSS course ( Master of Marketing, sales, service) tomorrow.By chance, i know about this forum and i see that all members are very enthusiastic and kind to help our English.So i decide to ask for your help to edit my application letter.This is my letter:

According to the information for admission the new course of CFVG on the website http:// cfvg.org, I am writing to apply to the MMSS program of CFVG- the 18th intake.
I have graduated from Banking University in 2006 and now I have been working at VietNamairlines as representative.During 2 years, I learned a lot knowledge and skills of customer services and marketing also .However, I think that in the global economics, learning more specialized knowledge is very important and necessary and it will become a basic foundation to help me to catch up with economic development.
I believe the MMSS program of CFVG is a wonderful environment and an opportunity for me to learn good knowledge on marketing, sales, service and to achieve my career objectives.
I should be grateful if you give my application a serious consideration.My enclosed curriculum-vitae describes my qualification in detail.And further information will be supply upon your request.

Hi,

Send an application letter, for a job I presume, that begins with 'To whom it may concern'? Surely you jest! [:D]

For reasons that escape me, many of our learners here on the Forum seem endlessly fascinated with the idea of writing letters that start with 'To whom it may concern'.

A search will find a great deal of discussion about this, with many people telling them again and again about how rarely and in what special and uncommon circumstances this phrase is used.

Hi. I have taken this from another thread on this forum:

"An application letter is simply a letter offering yourself for the position, while a motivation letter gives more details about why you would be prefect for the job- more about selling yourself."

Hi! My name is ina, and I am almost new in this forum. I wrote first in 2004 and I was very surprised and happy to receive so quicly the help I needed. Now I have wtitten already two times for the last three days and I have not received even a simple answer. I do not understand. It's simply that there is too much work and not enough people to do it all. Look at how much text is posted here for editting. It takes a long time to review and correct long texts. Don't forget that we are all unpaid volunteers. In addition, correcting long texts is much less interesting to most people. I saw that there are many ather people who have not received the help thy asked for in this forum, and still others who got more than five replys. Usually, because their post was short and interesting. I really need somebody to read and tell me my mistakes or to give me some ideas so I can improve my letter. This should be a short application letter, because afterwards I have to add two pages of explanation on my motivation. I really hope that there is somebofdy to help and I thank him/her a lot!

I'll try. Please read carefully to find my changes.

Thank you. I've read some university motivation letters, but I can't find anything else to add to my writing. I am going to be a linguist(hopefully) and the only benefit I can get from this program is improve my English, or so I think. What else could you recommend that I write?

They allow you up to a page for this so I suggest you use it.

They specifically ask why this would be useful for your future career and you don't even mention this.

Take a look at some of the university motivation letters on this forum for an idea of the sort of information you should be giving them.

this is the 7th version of the "letter of purpose" and 5th of the "studienvorhaben" (how to translate this??). I am applying for an exchange semester at the University of California, Berkeley and the selection is based on the marks of the first year. As I am only average (of all those who are allowed to apply :-) ) the application letters must give me an edge. If you were the professor, what else would you want to know?

So please, pimp my letter!

My name is **** and I am a 21 year old **** Biology student in the second year. I first took interest in life sciences during a hospital internship when I realized that even the best trained athletes can die of cancer or other diseases and health is mostly a matter of research and development. Therefore, I believe that biochemical knowledge holds the key to many diseases and highly trained specialists play an increasingly important role in the community.

Why go on exchange? Like many other students of my generation, I want to have an enjoyable and rewarding experience in a different educational and cultural environment. As a Swiss of Chinese descent I am very interested in the USA, especially how so many different ethnic groups and cultures live together.

A former exchange student introduced me to the UCB. I was impressed by his description of American education. Courses and exercises demand a lot of active contributions from the students in form of presentations and discussion groups. But above all I am eager to do an own independent research project under professional supervision.

Moreover, I strongly believe that this is a great opportunity for me to improve my English and meet students from different countries. As I have never been to an English speaking country for a longer period of time before, I think that an exchange would benefit me a lot.

I am certain that studying and living in a foreign country encourages initiative, independence and responsibility. I would like to study at the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology of the UCB in the fall semester 2007.

It is my goal to obtain a diversified educational background that enriches my overall academic experience. An exchange is therefore an opportunity to acquire new qualifications and skills. I want to gain insight into specialized fields of research and try out interdisciplinary fields of work.

It is my plan to spend most of the time during the exchange on a supervised independent study and research project (MCB 199). This is the main reason for me to go on exchange because I want to put theory into practice as early as possible by being an active contributor to teamwork and research output. My interest lies in biochemical mechanisms in the cell and I will contact the respective departments at the UCB after being accepted for the exchange.

Furthermore, I will take three additional courses. Compared to the **** , the UCB has fewer courses which are therefore more intensive and some courses at the UCB are equivalent to concept courses at the ****. Concept courses are required for the Master Degree at the **** so I will take Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Survey of General Genetics at the UCB which can also be useful for my laboratory work. If possible and by consent of the instructor I would also like to take a graduate course on a specific topic.

The biotechnology industry is an economic sector at the forefront of globalisation and there is no doubt that international cooperation and collaboration are becoming more and more important in any field of natural sciences. This means that being a biologist will most likely include working abroad for a period of time. As the USA is the worldâs largest economy and its universities are well-resourced, I could imagine doing my PhD there.

Generally, I am certain that the experiences of an international exchange will prove very beneficial for my future career.

Motivation and application letter to a university

Hello,

I'm an international student from Uganda interested in pursing a career in Aerospace Engineering at the prestigious Delft University of Technology, Holland. I finished by A' levels back in 2000 and majored in the required subjects of Physics and Mathematics. I have always wanted to pursue a career in aerospace and aviation, which I do believe is a forefront for innovation and technology.

I enrolled in Makerere University for a Bachelor in Architecture for the 2001/2002 academic years, but withdrew after three years. I seemed to be going through a period of questioning, wondering whether I was pursuing the right career. I then enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science at the same university in 2004, but I left just after one year, finding it was not the right choice for me either. And I do feel this will be a step-backward in the application I intend to make.

I do want join TU Delft and pursue my ambitions, however, I'm required to write a motivation letter, which honestly I have to say is giving me problems.

Can anyone out there help me go through this, please?

I would appreciate any help.

Actually, one of the easiest ways is to find application letters online and you can tailor it to your needs.
