Hi there

This is a motivation letter for a volunteering organization.I wrote hardly.I aprreciate if you correct and maybe add some words to improve.I am in stuck with what to write about what I will gain as a journalism student for this volunteering.

With this letter I would like to apply for the participation as a volunteer in your EVS project and through it I'd like to bring you closer how deeply I would like to become a part of your team and why I think you'd make a great decision choosing me.
You're probably asking yourself why I'm so sure of myself and what is that what I can offer more than someone else? Well...As I already mentioned, being a student of Journalism and on the other this is my second degree.I have studied history for 4 years.history has also always captivated my interest. It is history that made of the world what it is today. The rich Europea history is very fascinating. And there are also many interesting aspects about todayâs Europea. I'm a highly motivated, hard-working, tolerant and dynamic individual with expressed comunicating and organisation skills. During my time as a student I gathered a big amount of experinece in working with people in wide range of jobs (being a promotor, hostese, waitresse) I have lived in the UK as au pair for 2 years.In that time ,I have had opportunity to improve my English . I also volunteered as teacher assistance ,I was helping Turkish origin children to learn and improve their TurkishLike you see, I have kept myself busy .Well, doing all that I learned I enjoy working with people and that it fullfills me. And I'm really good at it. I easily adopt in any work enviroment and in working as a part of a group. Although neither an individual work that requires an initiative and responsable person with a sens of personal organisation doesn't represent any problem to me; I act equally good in both surroundings and I cope effectively with all kinds of demands put in front of me.I'm a computer literate and I speak, read and use english and little bit Persian. But I also think that there's a lot more work in front of me to achieve a level of a perfectly spoken Persian. Privately, I like sports and dancing. Depending of my free time and my mood I like cycling, I run. Also I adore to read. it's a daily or weekly press, all sorts of magazines, romans, Internet sites â from yellow pages to scientific articles, arts to love themes â I swallow it all in one breath. Any gatherings or activities of all kinds including people spending time together always will drow my attention. I'm a big filmophile and I enjoy music. And if you add a good cup of coffee with a cake accompanying it, plus my family and friends, with whom I share all my interests and free time, that's my winning choice.I'm sure you have already got an idea of how much I'd like to come and become a player in your team, but all the same, I'll use one more opportunity to express how strongly I desire to volounteer in your EVS project and how I'm convicted I have a lot to contribute with my experience and personality as your team member. The changes and all the adjustements that I would be confronted with do not frighten me, moreover, they challenge me. All potential shortfalls that will occure I'm willing to compensate with my maximum effort and doing my best. I'm very ambitious, prepaired to learn and ready to adopt new skills. I'll be really glad if somebody checks my motivation letter draft too. I've gone through this forum and copied some ideas and even senteces into that. I'm not sure if I can ask you also for grammar correction, but if somebody correct (maybe "fills in" is more appropriate, plenty of them are missing <img src="/emoticons/emotion-1.gif" alt="Smile [:)]" /> the articles and tenses, I'll really appreciate that. I started to look for research groups and laboratories concentrating on these topics. I realized that *** group is dealing exactly with the problems I'm interested in and I immediately decided to apply for a PhD position in your team right after finishing my master studies. To get broader survey in the area of formal verification I started to attend a seminar, where many scientists focused on this topic present their current results. I also attend an intensive everyday course of French since September to reach at least basic level of the language.

My choice of my former university and faculty was based on general belief that this institution is the most challenging and provides the education of the highest quality in my country. This fact helped me to make my best while studying there. But now I appreciate an opportunity to focus on an exciting research topic even more than high demands imposed on students. I consider the *** group to be both the great challenge and the place of projects exactly corresponding to my research interests. I think of that as of opportunity to get broader view of formal methods and security and to take part in the top-class research project with exciting goals.

I'm convinced that I can contribute to the above-mentioned project because of the experience gained from my master thesis and during my master studies. In my work I dealt with model-checking, implementation of temporal logic, formal specification, modeling language design, semantics and translation. Overall, your letter is very verbose, Shanawaz, and I fear that they may think you will talk them to death if they accept you. Nevertheless, I have cut and/or simplified very little of your letter. I suggest that you go through it again yourself, and see if you cannot eliminate at least a paragraph or so.

Hello everyone!! please check my motivation letter for PhD position, is it wrong to write about my private interests (like location boyfriend in that country, I want to get a PhD vacancy)? I wrote 5th paragraph in in detail cause they asked for relevant research experience.

I graduated from Faculty o***, *** State University, COUNTRY in June 2006 and I obtained a specialist degree in ***. More narrow specialization is ***. During my studies (5 years) I got thorough knowledges in various objects and I was always a curious and research-active student. On the third year of education I have done my practical research work as a laboratory assistant in the ***, Institute of ***, CITY. Working there I have adjoined for the first time with scientific investigations, have learnt to work in collective with highly qualified specialists that has helped me to discipline and organize my work in future.

I studied influence of various ionic liquids on homogeneous process of hydrocarbons oxidation. Investigated reactions were hydrocarbons oxidation in such aggressive solvent as acetic acid in the presence of palladium complexes. I had been considered a number of various ionic liquids (EMImBF₄, BMImBF₄, BMImOAc and EMImBr) with various substitutions to an imidazole ring and different anions. The greatest interest caused by the last one. Itâs interesting to notice, that addition insignificant quantities of EMImBr sharply changed the direction of reaction and distribution of products. Gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy and NMR were used to analyze products distribution. The condition of palladium complexes in reaction mixture were studied by UV-vis spectroscopy.

By getting to know more about ***, I understood that for several reasons this is the best place and opportunity for me. The theme of ionic liquids and their widely application in *** is very interesting to me, and Iâd like to be engaged in it further. Unfortunately, there are no investigations on a large scale on this theme in our Institute. This PhD position will give me a chance to work at higher level, with use of more perfect equipment that is enough difficult for me here, to work with other people, experts in area of ***, to learn a lot of the new. Also itâs a great experience of studying abroad will help me to develop more highly my methodical abilities, practical and theoretical skills, enrich my curriculum vitae, as well as gain more independence. I ~~have~~ completed my M.Sc. in Chemical engineering at the University of Leeds and I continued my research as a Research Assistant under Dr.Antony from the Institute of Particle Science and Engineering at the University of Leeds until January 2007. I am writing to you regarding the PhD position that I have seen advertised on the University website and I am therefore enclosing my CV to be considered for this post.

I am an articulate speaker and effective listener. My communication skills were further enhanced by paper presentation at national level and project presentation as an undergraduate and also in my M.Sc. multidisciplinary design project and in research project. My ability to deal with high-pressure situations, which I enjoy, was developed during my M.Sc. research project. The position of Research Assistant ~~which~~ also required taking initiative, decision making ability and problem solving ability which helped made the project successful as it is being published in an International Journal. I was solely responsible for 35 students in my job of Lab Demonstrator at the University of Leeds and also in guiding an M.Eng student from University of Leeds in her thesis, which displays my leadership qualities. I have developed qualities such as diligence, concentration, confidence and handling high-pressure situations and giving input within given time constrains.

I strongly believe that this job offers the breadth of opportunities and experience which I need to continue with my development. It would provide me with an experience in a number of different aspects of technical disciplines in engineering therefore enabling me to obtain a true insight into the role.

As you can see, I possess all the qualities necessary to be successful in a career in my chosen field. I have achieved high academic results throughout my school and university life and have developed a high range of transferable skills through a wide range of extra-curricular activities and employments. I have shown flexibility throughout my work experience by adapting to different jobs and situations according to requirements. As such I was required to work as part of a team in my undergraduate Project work and in my employment in King Chemical and Distilleries in India. During my M.Sc I was involved in a Multi-disciplinary design project in which engineers from different backgrounds were required to work together all these experiences enhanced my team working ability and communication skills. My motivation letter, could someone give me some suggestion?

I am preparing the application for Master degree in Germany. My major is Biology in Taiwan. I am wondering whether my article is too general? Or do I miss some important part of a motivation letter? Thanks for someone to help me!!!!

After Studying Biology at Tunghai University for total four years, I make up my mind to save the limited resource on earth. And I decided to continue my Masters degree in Sustainable Resource Management at Technische UniversitÃ¤t MÃ¼nchen in Germany where I found what I had been looking for.

In the second year of my college life, I have helped a professor to accomplish a project which intends to increase the biodiversity in Taiwan. During the two month, I get up early at 6:00, and go into the mountain until raining. Although it blankets all of my time, I love working in the mountain. I enjoy researching in the forest with different people, and get consensus to solve a problem. Also, when I get involve in this environmental practice, I realize the significance of conservation. The artificial forest doesnât embrace a variety of trees, and the other animals, such as insects and amphibian, are also rare.

Moreover, I also went to Malaysia to study âtropical ecologyâ when I was a senior. I spent two weeks beside the tropical forest, and had experiment everyday in it. In the field research, the classmates are grouped, and each group has different issues. We collect data first, and design method to analysis it. Then the member exchange different point of views on their own. In the process of solving problems, I realize the joy of ironing the difficulties and the importance of team work. During this experience, I learn better communication and cooperation skills which are essential to get along with international students. Discovering the desire of protect the forest and maintain the biodiversity, I decide to acquire further education to meet my need.

My aspirations lie in the field of forest and wildlife conservation, and I would like to work for conservation agencies or some environmental organizations. Your program provides me a good combination of academic knowledge and useful technique which could contribute to my future work. I also aim to obtain planning and leadership skills from it. Besides, instead of acquiring knowledge only, the internship is crucial for me to start my future job earlier. I believe your program will fulfill my crave to have my knowledge developed to a higher standard.

You do sound motivated and you seem to have covered most things. The only aspect that is missing is what do you intend to do with all this learning in the long term? What sort of career are you aiming at?

Grammatically, you have some problems with articles, for example

final thesis to obtain a BSc degree

and pursue ~~the~~ MSc and PhD degrees

Also watch out for plural/singular forms as appropriate and make sure that the verbs match.
