Teacher Requirements:

1. Candidates should be a native English speaker with a recognized Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and relevant degrees (at least B.A.)

Job Describtion:

1. Teaching hours are 8 classes (12 hours) per week. Two days off each week(Saturday and Sunday).

Dongguan, Guandong, China - Great School with Benifits and Support

Winnerway Foreign Language Schools are comprised of four campuses located in Dongguan City, Guangdong, China. Dongguan is a modern city with an international flavour. Dongguan developed as an industrial city; however in recent years Dongguan has become more cosmopolitan as more overseas visitors come to live and work here. Dongguan is only one hour from Shenzhen and Guangzhou, and approximately three hours from Hong Kong and Macau.

The schools are owned by the Winnerway Corporation (one of Chinaâs largest real estate development companies) and the Hanlin Corporation (investment and finance company). Teachers at Winnerway Schools receive training and support via the General Team Leader who liaises with the schools to ensure that foreign teachers have an enjoyable and hassle free experience while working in China.

Winnerway Schools are currently looking for teachers to begin in September of 2006. The students range in age from 3 to 17 years (depending on the campus you will be working at), class sizes range from 20 to 60 students, and the weekly workload is 20 Oral English classes plus two Extra Curricular classes. Teachers will also be asked to attend promotional and marketing events for the schools on occasion.

The basic details of the salary and benefits are outlined below. A copy of our contract is available on our website.
- The starting salary for teachers will be RMB 4000 â 5000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
- Accommodation for teachers will be provided by the schools. The apartments include bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, balcony, color TV, DVD player, air conditioner, telephone, computer with internet access, washing machine, shower, gas stove, microwave, cooking utensils, 24 hour hot water supply, quality furniture, free supply of gas, free supply of water, linen (including sheets, blankets, pillows and towels), accommodation is within walking distance of the schools and is close to the downtown shopping area. Electricity is supplied to a maximum of 200 RMB per month.
- The school will provide free treatment for minor ailments (colds, minor cuts) at the school clinic but we also recommend that you purchase a private medical insurance plan.
- There are 30 days holiday in winter and summer (these are unpaid), three days in May and October (May and October holidays will involve a schedule change which enables teachers 7 continuous days for travel, these days are paid).
- A travel allowance of RMB 1,000 per semester will be provided.
- Visa expenses will be reimbursed upon production of receipts.
- An allowance of RMB 4000 is provided per semester for airfare expenses.
- For the successful completion of a one year contract all teachers will receive a bonus equal to one monthâs salary.
- Two free Chinese lessons will be provided per week.
- Free membership at the five star Winnerway Gym.
- Access to our online lesson planning and resource centre, with over 1000 lessons, hundreds of movies, songs, pictures and other tools that can be used in the classroom.
- Ongoing support and training during your time at the school.
