Hi,
I undertand 'cover letter' and 'motivation letter' as two different things, as follows.

A cover letter accompanies a resume, and is usually related to an employment application.
A motivation letter is a term I only encountered on this Forum. I understand it to relate to a university application, and to be a statement of why you want to take this particular course at this particular institution.

Hi, I'm portuguese too.. I was looking for something related with languages when I found this message. If you are still sending CVs, you might want to consider revising it...specially by using active verbs at the beginning of the sentences. Check at <url removed by mod.> the vault resume and cover letter guide!

I have never been worried about lunch time or dwelt on those days when I put in nineteen hours for eight hours' pay. I am a company man from a company family, and I know what it takes.
