It's probably just semantics. For me, a cover letter says why I am the the best choice for this position, based on my experience and skills, while a motivation letter says why I want the position. It's all about me and my thoughts, not the company

Yes, I agree that my summary is too long, Shall I eliminate it and instead write a cover letter? I would just make it shorter and in point form. Think of it as a chance to highlight your strengths.
