During this period I worked in several companies where I've gathered a broad knowledge base in the web design field."

I see the writer as doing two things in this sentence.
1. Stating past historical information. (I worked . . )
2. Indicating that past activity has relevance to the present situation (which I assume involves a job application or interview). (I have gathered . . )

I said the original sounded normal, because it seems OK and not odd. However, I wouldn't object to the use of the Simple Past, or even the Present Perfect, in both clauses. In fact, I'd probably prefer it.

Today is Tuesday,September 12, 2007 . I was joint a interview in S-Fone corp . Itâs hard to pass because itâs very difficult . IQ part I did quite well but english part I did very bad .Tuesday next week , the result of interview will report, I am very worry because I am afraid i will be fall!

Oh! Ghost ! I wish I was( after âwishâ verb will be simple past tense) good at english, so I should pass every exam for interview ! Oh ! dear! I have to work hard to become a person good at english !

OK! I am doing to make my dream come true ! ( he he : my dream is expect in eclectronics and telecommunication engineering , but that is difficult because it have too much problem I have to pass ! Ok , I will learn english and good at english soon!

Do you believe me? Problem only depend on time. My english is improve by day ! you see, I love english very much , so I believe next month my english will be improve !

I wish I had much money for my my study . I want to study MCSE certificate because it need for my work and buy an laptop for me . Oh, I havenât money for this purpose . I have to find jobs and earn money , save , and buy and study things I wantâ¦.

I have met teacher avalable help me improve my english , but first I have to work hard .

Yesterday, I was joint in a interview in s-fone corp. It is difficult to pass this exam because it very hard.

This exam include two parts : IQ part and English part. In IQ part , I did quite well , but English part I donât understand any sentence .

I am studying lines-lines Books, intermediate level, fellow I want to write some sentence about this book.

UNIT 1 : MODERN LIFE .

2. this part talk about a story of effect modern life . This is simple story but it practice use tense of English.

Question one : where does story take place ?

Answer : story talk about fortune of life . It is talking about Chris Bod , a programmer . After sell his house , with 145,000 $ he had taken plan to Las Vegas . Chris sitting all day in Casino and finally he lost all his money . He comeback London and live in a small flat . sine , He âve given up gambling.

Rules : the articale contain four tenses for talking about the past .

1) Can we rely on his installing all our equipment correctly? Not quite! How about: Can we rely on him to correctly install our equipment ?

2) I object to his installing our equipment. I object to having him to install our equipment.
3) The success of our project absolutely depend[s] on her reacting to our proposal. The structure looks fine, but not sure if I understand the context.

4) Situation: A candidate is waiting for the result of the first job interview and he speaks:
If I knew had known that I had passed the interview, I would should have begun preparing for the second one.
For # 4, a simple past tense will be sufficient.

Same context: If I had enough money, I would have bought the Ipod for her birthday.

OK. Now, in Clive's sentence <"Clive told me he had had an interview'.>, the main verb is "have", conjugated in the past perfect = auxiliary "have" in the simple past (=had), + past participle of the main verb have = "had".

In the "had had seen" sentence, your main verb is "see". It should be conjugated in the past perfect, so we have "had" + main verb in the past participle = seen.

There is no tense that doubles the auxiliary ("had had + main verb"), it simply doesn't exist...
