The word "kidnapped" is the past participle of the verb "kidnap". Saying "get kidnapped" is a sort of passive structure -- like saying "I'll make sure you are not kidnapped ". The verb "get"

I don't think anything is wrong...but am unsure why kidnapped is in the past tense when everything else seems to be in the present tense.
