"Me neither" jars my ear, so I prefer "neither do Just a humorous observation here about me too.Comments at the end of a phone conversation:A. I love you.B. Me too.Of course, B means "I love you, too"; but technically B is saying, "I love me, too".

It's listed in "The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary" (which, I just noticed, does not have an apostrophe at the end of "Players." Grr.) Of course, that source lists lots of words that some people (including my husband) might not consider "real" words. But...

Yes, it occasionally happens to me, but not often. Usually it's an unusual new word invented by teenagers. Since I seldom converse with teenagers, it hardly ever happens.As for newspapers, I sometimes come acoss technical terms that are unfamiliar to me.CJ
