An American football expression. Sometimes when the buzzer is about to blow ending a football game (or ending the first half) if the losing team is in possession of the ball, their quarterback will throw a high, long pass deep into the opposing teams' territory, on the very slim chance that someone will be in a position to catch it and run it in for a touchdown. Such plays are very dramatic when they succeed. I click a few links, and google: college football blogger awards, it appears to be legit (for the web and blogs) I looked at the other 5 nominations. Clever stuff, mostly compositing/ photoshopping sports heads onto funny pictures and parody songs. Mine is the only one that is sketch or character driven. I wrote it, and directed it. Therefore I am tooting my own horn here at MWS&M because I did write the "script". Im not into the sports Blogs, from the outside it looks like everybody knows each other and there is a lot of cross linking and cross...

Re: Better than Hollywood

Lets start off On Topic, USC controls the secular sports media. Their grads go to the NFL and into Studios and Networks, Agencies, Prodcos. How many Students does USC have 75,000? They crank out movie stars, sports stars, and televsion and movie people. Combine all that together we get OJ ***. USC's most famous alum, movie star, television star, Heisman winner, and Hall of Famer. Writers get ready. A small private school of only 9,000 students just inked the #1 football recruiting class in the entire country according to ESPN. Theyv'e got a Black Head Coach (rare) named Randy Shannon (google him) who just got 12 of the best 150 football players in the nation to go to a school that doesn't even have a stadium to play in. That was really lame. Maybe if I knew all the nuance of this Brooker guy it would have been funnier but it just wasnt a good take on "the credits squeeze" to me. First off, the BBC is actually taking time to discuss credit size? What for? Allow me to get all Henry Fonda and Angry on the other 11 members of this BBC committee. Credit size ladies and gentleman? Ok, I give you Director. But thats it. Maybe in the 40's the beginning credits kinda ramped the theater crowd up to speed, with the minute or so of moody music and a few lovely illustrated names of the people responsible, and if any of those...

Re: YT: Happy Hallowe'en

mGJnRw Cute and macabre.
