Yes, you do write very well.

I've suggested some changes.

To whom it may concern <<< Never start with this. Say 'Dear Sir or Madam,' if you don't know the person's name.

With reference to your advertisement inserted in the “***” of November 5th, I should like to apply for the position of Business Travel Coordinator.

As you will see from my enclosed CV, I graduated from the University of *** in 2000 with a degree in Tourism Studies. I also have practical training in all aspects of tourism. I have been working as a European Tour Guide since 1998 for *** Tours, which is based in Spain. Prior to this, I worked as a freelance travel agent. I hold certificates in computer graphics and word-processing. Furthermore, I speak fluent French, Italian and Chinese.

I have a smart appearance, I am friendly, organised and patient and I am used to working under pressure and to a deadline.

As my references show, I have been very popular with many of the clients who specifically asked for me to be their travel coordinator on tours they went on.

I believe the post you offer will give me the chance to strengthen and deepen my stock of knowledge, and that in return I will be an asset to your business.

I will be glad to supply you with any further information you may need and to attend an interview at any time convenient to you.

When I began to read this, I thought you were going to ask for information about textmining activity at this company, and perhaps for the opportunity to interview the people there who are involved. I was surprised that you suddenly just asked them to give you free stuff.

I think you need to explain more to them about the purpose and nature of your project. You also need to explain to them why they should give you free stuff. Will their company benefit in some way? Will you share with them the results of your project? Will you acknowledge their generosity somehow in your project report?

I recommend that you try to rewrite this.

Hello, it's too long to write the title of the task..., I hope somebody can help me correcting it.

I'd be really pleased.
Thank you.
Chiara

Dear Editor,
my name is XY, I have actively taken part in organizing the charity day for the local hospital in Cooper's Park on Saturday.
I'm writing to complain about the wrong information you provided in your article about the event.
For the benefit of the hospital the organisation works for, it is very important that people know the real facts.

First of all I need to say that the organisation never stated that the event would have guested 45 stalls but only 35, of whom only one was missing.
Secondly I wouldn't call a dounpour of rain few drops of water which didn't demage the event at all.
Therefore I totally disagree with your assumption that the event didn't reached its figure target, because, at the opposit, it was a great success for us.

Finally I have to correct the wrong information you provided
about the cost of the event which was lower then what you reported.
The total amount of the organisation cost was only the 15% of which the 10% was for the entertainment and the 5% for the administration cost, so that the 85% of the income, and not the 60% as you stated, was given to the the hospital.

Since your magazine's wrong report can seriously demage the hospital for which our fund-raising events are very important,
we ask you to apologize publically in your magazine about what happen. You would help us to keep on working successfully for the hospital as we did in the last charity day.

Yours sincerely,
XY
