Consistently my peers place me in leadership position, and I have a reputation for doing work well beyond what is expected. Still, I feel a vacuum in my life. Excited by the idea of becoming a scientist since I was a child, my interests in pursuing graduate studies intensified during my undergraduate education and my basic research. Having a thirst for Biology, I pursued my graduation in Biochemistry in prestigious Vysya College, although I opted for computer science in twelfth grade. With chemistry background I excelled in my under graduate studies. The core subject became very interesting in the hands of experienced faculties. It even allowed me to take Biochemistry tuition for twelfth grade students in my third year stint. That tutoring experience secured me 1st grade in Human Physiology and Cell Biology.

Being a day scholar I worked as a part time trainee in renowned clinical laboratory with out stipend. There I learnt molecular techniques and research approach towards Molecular biology. I have undergone a laboratory course exclusively for electrophoresis techniques at THE ELECTROPHORESIS INSTITUTE. My quest for advancements in Biological sciences lured me once again towards clinical laboratory work that I undertook in Gopi Hospitals. One personâs life influences the lives of an unbelievable number of people goes the saying, one of the most important lessons I learned, being the representative at Bachelor degree level (Under graduation). This experience inculcated and educated me to be a responsible person and eventually boosted my confidence. It also taught me that the basis for good work is self-reliance and very importantly, time management. Not all of my entire three years were devoid of shortcomings. I learned to accept both criticisms and praise with a positive frame of mind. My work involved organizing various events, which gave me the opportunity to work and interact with various kinds of people. This was a distinctively gratifying experience for me, which I feel would stand in good stead in the future, especially in lieu of my teaching experience.

I pursued my post graduation in Biochemistry for attaining the basic eligibility to do research. The core subject inspired me a lot to take basics of Biochemistry to UG students. I involved myself in many self-help initiatives such as paper and poster presentations in various state level seminars. As a partial fulfillment of my post graduation I worked in Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI-ADYAR) in the Department of Bioproducts. There I worked on protein purification and its characterization that provided me a clear perspective of research and aided me to learn other molecular techniques.

As a prerequisite for registering a PhD in Neurobiology, I have undergone an intense training in National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences by attending course in Laboratory Animal Management. This stint gave me a practical exposure to isolate brain and its major parts. Drug administration and sample collections techniques with Laboratory animals are vital part of this course.

Thus my journey from undergraduate to current job is highly planned one. Thus I believe that my serious intention for study, my work experience in Laboratories and academic background in various areas of Biochemistry, will be more beneficial for my research work in your esteemed laboratory."

I am not sure how best to help with this - "and I positively expect the University through its MA to give " - but I would say "I believe this MA programme is more than capable of giving". Not sure what you mean to say here -"intense actual topics". I would put intensely relevant, but I'm not completely comfortable with that, either. All purple words make me uncomfortable, but I hope someone else will help...someone else who is even more fluent in English than I am. Your letter is quite interesting, Mfuai. Hope the corrections help, and hope your application is successful.

I am writing to express my concern about the fact that the last week, due to the trains daily delay, I was late for attend my Marketing Course in London every day. Indeed, the worst day I missed two of the three classes in which I should be present. I have deep knowledge that the cause of these delays is the severe weather conditions. The heavy snowfalls all over the week have provoked a huge traffic chaos.

In spite of this extreme situation, this point could not be the excuse to the poor service you provided. First of all, no information was given to the passengers while we were stranded in the open-air railway platforms. In a second term, we were trapped inside the wagons without lighting and heating, and due to the intense cold I have now the symptoms of pneumonia. And finally, to my surprise, when I demanded to the Station Staff the rail vouchers to get the value of the 50% of the journey made, they told me (and told the rest of the passengers) that no electronic device runs properly and as a result no document can be hand out.

To resolve the problem of my course faults, I require you to contact with the Marketing School in London and write to them a letter explaining the reason for my delays. Furthermore, I claim the economical compensation you promise in your information leaflet, so in case of a delay for more than one hour it is supposed that I can get the value of the 50% of the journey made.

I would like to work for you because I am very interested in breaking the concept of closed space.
My wish to do so, followed the work of Baddam Sush, a famous scientist, who has proven that closed space can frighten some people (especially claustrophobic ones) so much that they lose their minds completely and do not use even MINIMUM amount of common sense while posting on different and especially music (my favourite ones) forums. I consider trashing internet forums with half-witted messages a great problem, so I am very eager to help the world and save it from these not very good people. I think opening ketchup bottles would help me enormously in doing so.
I am a very hard-working person and I also have great experience in the subject. In fact Iâve been opening ketchup bottles for almost 14 years and Iâm very proud of it!!! I also can substitute any of your other-type-of-content-of-the-bottles-bottle openers if needed, since I m also very good at opening mustard bottles, mayonnaise bottles, coca-cola bottles and all other bottles ever invented by the human kind.

The letter is basically fine, Raymonde. It is a little over-formal, actually, to the extent that it has no humanity, so I have suggested a couple of personal pronouns below, a tense change, and changes in or the loss of a few words. Also, two spaces after a period is recommended:

We were extremely pleased to receive your letter advising us that you would consider resubmission of our manuscript once the areas of concern highlighted by the reviewers had been satisfactorily addressed and the recommended corrections had been provided. We appreciate the contribution of the referees to our paper and the opportunity of resubmitting the edited article.

Please find attached the revised version of the manuscript and our list of comments on the issues pointed out by the reviewers. We hope that our corrections are appropriate and that the article may now measure up to the standards for publication in _________. Poland has recently adopted a new test systems. Unlike the "Old Matura," where each course received a mark (from 1 - lowest to 6 - highest), the Nowa Matura (âNew Maturaâ) reports only a blended percentage score from all the courses. Thus, the 5 or 6 score no longer applies.

Approximately what percentage score or percentile of my class must I achieve to be strongly considered for the LLB program? Knowing the answer to this question will allow me to more effectively plan for my future.

1) I am not sure if I have interpreted that correctly. I think you mean that there is only one mark? I don't think "internal" versus "external" stuff matters. They probably don't care. What they want to know is, did you graduate among the top 5% of the class? If you did, they are interested in considering your application. Otherwise, not.

You note that she writes:

It is only fair to point out, however, that competition for places on the Law degree is extrememly intense and there is no guarantee that an offer of a place will be made, even if you meet our entry requirements.

What you really want to know is where is that darn cut-off point. Is it the top 3% only? Top 10%? Where is it? My guess is that it will be in the top 10% or higher (meaning that you must be very bright).

By percentile, I am asking if you must be in what class of students? The top decile is the top 10% of students. My guess is that they would consider your class ranking in addition to your percentage score. If everyone at your school got 95% or higher, then 95% doesn't mean much. If 95% was an extremely rare score, then it means that the person is extremely bright.

Meeting the entry requirements is not good enough. You must be among the very top student to be seriously considered.
