Hi! I have writen a cover letter about an internship through a grant program, could you please check if the grammar, use of vocabulary,etc. is correct? I'll welcome any comments.

I am writing to express my interest in obtaining a practical internship at (company name) through the ARGO grant program.

ARGO is a mobility project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science within the framework of the European program Leonardo da Vinci. Its aim is to promote practical internships in European companies within Spanish University graduates. ARGO grants include financial help for the intern and an insurance policy during the stay which will not suppose any additional cost for your company.

I recently graduated from the -- University with a degree in -- and I have gained some work experience in both a --and a --. As you can see from my enclosed CV, I can communicate appropriately in English. I was awarded grade C in the Certificate in Advanced English and I attended a course in English language in --My reason for applying is that I would like to use and develop the skills and knowledge I have gained to a six month internship at (company name). I feel that it would be a very interesting experience and that I would enjoy the opportunity to broaden my cultural awareness by living at a foreign country. I have found some general information about your company and was impressed by your absolute commitment to training and development. For this reason I consider your company to be the right place for me.

Hola, estoy haciendo un cover letter para trabajar en Londres, podrÃa alguien ayudarme a ver si estÃ¡ correctamente redactado, tengo algunas dudas como "providing good service for (or "to") the customers?, tampoco estoy segura acerca de "set foot" si estÃ¡ bien usado.

1. Student second year in Informatics, Computer Science or related fields.
2. Willingness to learn
3. CV and Motivation Letter

Hey, could anyone check this cover letter for me?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing without any reference.

I am an enrolled student of *** Industrial Engineering Department. I am studying industrial engineering.

I completed all of my compulsory internship periods and my graduation project. I should be graduated now. But an error occured in the Student Works Departmet of my school.

So i have to wait for graduation until January, 15 2008. I am free for internships till that date. I am very available 15 days between 1 november 2007 and 19 november 2007 in Moscow, Russia.

Hi,

Here is a quick and brief comment.

The term 'CV' is more or less equivalent to the term 'resume'. What you have posted is commonly called a 'cover letter', and is intended to be sent to a prospective employer along with your CV.

Do you want us to check your CV, or just this cover letter?

Your resume

The summary section is a rather odd mix of different types of information. It's a waste of space to summarise information that is found elsewhere in the CV, just write a brief paragraph on your aims and personal qualities etc, and this section is often entitled 'Personal Profile' or something similar. I would include your scholarship information in the education section.
