I know the rules in Chicago Manual, etc. for using hyphens with prefixes (generally it's not done, except for certain circumstances). However, there is a context I have not seen addressed

You can also 'car' somebody. You can also 'glass' somebody.
"Dude! I totally glassed him!"
And you can bus someone somewhere, so I suppose you can car someone somewhere.
