I have a reservation under (+ name) ? what's the word that comes after reservations if it's not "under"?

"I'm afraid that he might/will get angry" are often employed but would it be correct to say "I'm afraid of his getting angry?"
and could a present tense be used : "I'm scared the building blows up or might/will blow up" ?

This genitive form is causing me trouble:
a friend of Nora's is correct right ? but then people say "a friend of Nora Smith" with no use of 's
same goes for "I'm a fan of yours" and then I see "I'm a fan of Steve George" again without the 's

I didn't want to go or stay OR I didn't want to go nor stay OR I didn't want to go, nor/neither did I want to stay
the 1st and 3rd sentences sound right to me, but I'm not 100% sure.

I thought "cold like ice" would be the correct grammar form, I was taught that when you make a comparison between 2 nouns you use "like"
maybe cold as ice suggests "as cold as ice" but then why would the first 'as' not appear ?

I have some trouble seeing the difference between make and have although I know that you "make" someone angry/sad etc... and that you "have" someone do something (clean the bathroom, etc...)
but other than that, I can't decide which one to use.
