The verb is of course 'to be liquored up' ('to be drunk').. perhaps there was some confusion between 'is being' and 'to be'. However we say, 'She is drunk' not 'She is being drunk.'

I would say it means, "We are in the same unpleasant situation." Another common expression that has the same meaning is, "We are in the same boat."

Hi Marshmellow, I would say: "..someone is liquored up" (without 'being').. For example: "They are liquored up and causing trouble in the town" (They are drunk and causing trouble in the town).
