What verb(s) is appropriate if we want to describe an adult pulling a kid's face teasingly, or someone pulling his/her two faces to make a funny face ??

'Each of us thinks his own idea is better' ....... this one sounds better than the original sentence.
But on second thought, it still looks a bit strange to use "his" after "us". Neither "our" nor "his" looks natural to me. Any comments?

Scenario: A and B are arguing, each thinks his (assume both are male) idea is better than the other person's.
So can A say "We each think our own idea is better." Does it sound right? The pronoun "our" seems strange.
