"Early birds get the worms" is among one of the first English proverbs that I learned, but I have never heard people say "an early person". It sounds good though.

I am looking for a term or an expression to describe someone who doesn't stay up very late at night. Can I say:
"I am not a late sleeper ; I normally go to bed around 9pm ..." Any suggestions?

i) A monster kicked the man who is from N.Y. to L.A. (The man himself is from N.Y.)
ii) A monster kicked a man to L.A. from N.Y. (kicking him in N.Y., and the man ended up in L.A.)

How about sentence B? Is ii) the more reasonable interpretation for B??
