In a sentence like:
"You are a horse."
Would horse be a noun, and not an adjective? Since horse is a thing.
However, it is describing "you", so, it would be an adjective?
Here is one I came across that was even more confusing, though

Would "whom" be the write usage in the types of sentences, where there is a preposition, and the word "those" in the preposition?
Like:

Yes, I saw that previously. I just wanted to double check. I find my self in more situations that aren't shown, where I wonder if I should use a semi colon or not.
