Dear friends,
it's my greatest pleasure to explain why Al-Quran is precious for the Muslims, including me..
For Muslims, Al-Quran is not an ordinary book. It is more than just a book. Al-Quran is a derivative of the Arabic word ‘ 3 ara’a ’ which means ‘ have read/recited’ . Therefore, from the literal meaning, Al-Quran means ‘ recitation’ . However, the figurative meaning of Al-Quran from the Islamic view is more than just a recitation.

‘ Al-Quran’ means ‘ the miraculous word of Allah that was dictated to Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon...

Re: Why do so many Moslems hate the Western World - New Yorker

yes.. in my forthright opinion, i agree with you Weid.. our non-Muslim friends are not rude, it is only because they haven't known the truth of Islam.. i don't hate the non-Muslims.. i don't hate New Yorker.. because i know he didn't mean to insult Islam.. it is only because he doesn't really know Islam entirely.. i have Russian, Spanish, American and Indian friends who are non-Muslims and they are very nice to me.. thanks friends.. :-)

I have studied “The Pearl” which is creatively written by an inspired American writer named John Steinbeck. The characteristic that is portrayed through Juana makes me choose her as the character that I think is brave and heroic.

This Indian-Mexican lady’s courage and bravery is not demonstrated in her physical ability alone. Juana is brave in many ways and for many reasons. It is a definite fact that she is strong both physically and mentally. She is brave to make important decision when her beloved husband, Kino cannot. For instance, when Coyotito is ill from the scorpion bite, she makes the important decision to take her little one to the stingy doctor’s house though she knows it is...

Re: Help me

Nmurugeshan2nev, thanks for asking this question..

In view of that, if students get poor marks at school, does it mean the education system provided by the government is mediocre? Let’s ponder deeply about this thought. However, there are various reasons why students get poor marks at school.
