To earn your diploma you have to pass the exams for Dutch and English. It's indeed the second language although we don't speak it often when we don't have to go to school anymore.

Re: Hi, friends

Hello Olivika, I hope you enjoy this forum. One of them is with my mom. She was a baker. Early in the morning she had to get up so the customers would have fresh baked bread. I was 15 maybe 16 years. Normaly I would get up around 6.00 am. This morning I woke up, looked at the clock and thought that it was 5.55 am. So I turn off the alarm-clock, and got up. One hour to soon. I realized it when I walked into the bakery and my mom ask, "Why are you so early?" To cut a long story, my mom took a just baked French bread and shared it with me. :d

Re: Weird Issue

Thoughts are quicker then words. I've the same experience. Not that my English is that good but writing it is easier than talking it. When you have to speak, you have to do both things at the same time. Think and speak. Practice will improve things. I'm sure of that.

Re: Summer can seem like slavery

It's hard to believe that they have the nerve to ask to work more for no extra money. You should be the one who decide when you have the right figure and not someone else. Unfortunaly there are sometimes people so dissatisfied with themselfs that even when they have, according to the BMI, the right weight, they still don't feel happy. Not even when others tell them you look great. They just are not happy with themselfs. In those cases, these people, mostly women, will go on trying to lose weight. Is it right, in your opinion, to warn them or do you think that they have to make that decision on there own. With other words, can they go on in there battle against weigth until they selfs are sattisfied? Will they ever be?

Re: The hot Outsourcing Controversy

I don't agree totaly. In some way you are right but what about the next situation: A company in our country makew cheese, transport this product to another country. There the re-wrap it and send it back to our country. Suddenly it is imported cheese. What's the profit in that? It's good for that other country because it creates opportunity for employment. Is this also some kind of outsourcing?
