I think swearing is seen, not unjustifiably, as trying to act "rough and tough" - something that is considered to be "masculine". Therefore, swearing is seen as unfeminine.
Men in general see women as frail, gentle, serene people - I think. It doesn't suit their imagined image of a "lady" when they hear swearwords passing women's lips. Or it might be seen as a challenge to their masculinity.

I remember reading an article that said that upon hearing a baby crying, men registered a far greater increase in heartbeat and blood pressure. But it was the women who started making noises and actually acting on their emotions. But the "six times" figure is new to me. Thanks!

In British English, you sometimes hear this construction:
 1. If I had have known, I would have done XYZ.
This is used as an emphatic form of:
 2. If I had known, I would have done XYZ.
However, as has been said, "If I had have" is generally considered incorrect.
 MrP

MrP, is "Had I but known, I would have..."/"If I had but known, I ...." correct?
 Thanks!

Are you planning to discontinue the posting of pictures or something because of that issue? I should hope not.

Mylakh, not only have you insulted me no end, now you're doing that to Waiti - who is, by the way, more than capable of dealing with the situation himself. He, unlike you, has been deemed a "proficient speaker" of English, an honour that can be obtained only my proving one's worth, which you certainly have not done till date.
Before questioning another's purpose, kindly re-analyse your own. It seems to resemble "insulting people" and "picking fights" a lot more than "learning English"
