From what i've learned we use "a" if the noun starts with a consonant letter like " a handbag" now, we use "an" if the noun starts with a vowel like" an apple". I'm a new user of this website and it would be great to improve my english speaking/writing/spelling skills.. I'm already in College taking up Secondary Education Major in English. I have plans of teaching in California soon that is why I'm really looking forward to your offer.. Right now I'm having problems of making up simple english translations for my tutorial class every saturday. This is for elementary students (Grade 5 &amp; 6). Hope you can help me with this. There will be 6 levels of English translations. English translation 1 is simply describing yourself and friend. Do you have any ideas or suggestions for the other levels? Hope to hear from you soon.
