Making guns illegal doesn't necessarily help the crime rate. Crime rate will decrease when the judicial system is stricter. You can't just slap someone on the hand and send them back into the world. They should have to serve a fair amount of time and also work hard. They are suppose to be punished.

Perhaps in most cases it is not necessary but for some I believe it to be completely necessary. I also believe it can be taken too far or over done.

Well haogide,,, it's definitly tricky. But it's nice that there are people who believe the way you do. But I think what I believe and what you believe could be a little different. Maybe not by far but a little different. It would seem that once someone is convicted, that they tend to sit in our system and eat up tax dollars. And this goes on for many years and for many people. I would rather see the money spent on more needy issues than baby sitting someone that will never change their ways. Well let me stop at that...... I don't want MountainHiker after me again. LOL, Just kidding with you MountainHiker. Really I am.

Sorry about that MountainHiker. I am not saying wheither I am right or wrong on this, but when Santa said something. I believe it depends on where you live perhaps. I don't think anything good could come out it by walking around nude no matter where you live. moderator (MountainHiker): Lilbit, you have to learn to be tolerant of others. Well money is great, sure...... But no it doesn't buy love. To me communications, sense of humor (very important), ambition, and the other parts you talked about. I think it is important to have God in your life. But I have seen where money had changed people and somehow makes them feel they have control over another. I would rather live out of a box they let someone have that kind of control over me. Well you know what I mean.

Yes beauty is a big plus for them and it is important, but it is also the way they carry themselves, stand and pose. Also what special talents they have and do on stage. And also like you said, their intellectual side.

Well maybe it is a way to release some of the sadness that you are having. I use to do the same thing sorta. I would keep a journal of my thoughts of how I felt when looking for my mother. Plus I was able to keep alot of important information that way too. So that when I would get down and out, I would go back and read what I had wrote from an earlier time.

For me, I am not really scared of ghosts, but to be haunted by one that is evil. That would scare me. But there is a little saying that I would say when I felt a presence around me that made me feel uncomfortable. Circle me with the White light of Jesus Christ. And I would say it over and over and then I would feel safer and the presence had left.

actually it has happened to me but it was hard to tell if I was sleeping. But it did happen to my brother. It scared him badly. He was almost in tears. They ended up moving to another place it scared him so bad. It was about a child that was abused and the child was speaking out. It really scared him badly.

It's kinda funny how people view racism. Or sometimes I think they find ways to look for it. But I believe it exists everywhere. Perhaps some places there is more of it than others depending on the population. Sure educating people would be a really good start. But also, I have seen people giving an attitude like the world owes them something. And then when people react to the attitude, the attitude people scream racism. It would seem at times they are trying perhaps to get their way. But also like everything else, there is two sides to it all. I have seen reactions to boths sides.

Well actually it would depend on if you have sight and hearing. I knew a man that was a 100% blind, he had artificial eyes (war injury) but his sense of touch and hearing were incredible. Mostly his hearing. So by taking away one, it enhances another. But also maj, from what I understand that if you have no smell, you would have no taste. Does anyone out there know if this is true or not? Kinda like if you have a cold, nothing tastes the same.

Well let me say this first..... This is only my observation. I know I have days like other people that when you are not either feeling well or just down and out, I dress accordingly. Sloppy t-shirt and jeans, my hair is not as neat as it should be, not as much makeup if any, But then also I don't go anywhere looking like that either in most cases. But if I am feeling what I call normal LOL, or chipper or happy, then I dress differently. I could wear the same jeans but my shirt is different, well something more appealing. But my hair looks great, I wear makeup. It's everything in what you do as to show how you feel. Hi MaverickII, I live in Maitland, it's located in the Orlando area and I was affected by the Hurricane but nearly as bad as most. Lost power for 3 days but no damage to the home. But there was some clean up of debrie. We can communicate thru the forum perhaps.

Hi Cloud, Not that I disagree with you as much as I would like to say that... No I don't believe it to Bushs fault. In my thoughts I think that the President prior to Bush, when things seem to be getting better... There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. I think a lot of this was already stirring before Bush got into office and had come to head afterward. As in 9/11, the people flying those planes did not learn over night. Some of these people were in training before Bush was in office, Correct? So with thinking that, what else was going on? Will we really know? I think perhaps not! But those are my thoughts and feelings.
