As I surmise you know, I'm Brazilian. I live in southern Brazil, the capital of one of three southern states of Brazil, the state of Paraná(which means 'big river' in the natives language). The name of the city is Curitiba(the name refers to a kind of tree which was abundant here), the fourth richest city of the country, and the capital with the best quality of life in the country. The climate is 'subtropical', unlike most of the country, whose climate is tropical. The weather is pretty unpredictable here, due to the position of the city, but it isn't, in my conception, very cold nor very hot, though the sudden rain is rather annoying. It's a planned city, organised, with a satisfactory public transportation system. The quality of life has worsen significantly in the past few year, because of the substantial inward flow of people from other states( the southern states have a better quality of life in the country), and also because of an unexpected growth. The society of Curitiba is thought to be one of the most conservatives, if not the most, of the country. We despise the so-called 'Brazilian culture', which only represents the culture from the southeast and northeast. I've joined the Law university last year. I also study French and English. Dunno what to say about me... . What about you? Where are you from and what do you do?
