About me

Retired from military flying in 1998 after 40yrs, taught English Literature and Linguistics in Cambridgeshire since then, along with EFL. Recently fully retired but I continue to teach at home. Interested in grammar as a discrete subject, drama generally and Shakespeare in particular, the work of Seamus Heaney, WB Yeats and Derek Walcott. Speak German passably, military Russian with effort and some Serbo-Croat when under duress. Love Laphroaig if anyone wants to buy me a bottle.
