Hello everbody, this is Murat..i hope everbody is fine. thanks for opening this kinda topic. please let me tell about my culture..of course, i can not tell everthing here, but at least i can describe it generally.. Turkey which is a gorgeous country combines Europa and Asia..In our language we call it TURKIYE..It has so many historical and natural beauties..Whatever u wanna do? skiing,swimming,sky-diving,history,brotherhood of religions,mountains,rivers,bird paradise so on so forth.. It has a deep history coming from Ottoman Empire which existed more than 600 years..When you visit Turkiye, u can find turkish hospitality and tolerance. For instance, When Istanbul was conquerored,Hagia Sophia which was originally constructed as a church between A.D. 532 and 537 on the orders of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian was not touched,destroyed. Ottoman Commander-Sultan ordered just to cover the pictures in the church. If you go Istanbul, you will see the pictures of Holy mAry and Christ ..They still exist.. Majority are muslim in Turkey..More than 90%. 2 religious and many other festivals we have..Modern Turkey was founded in 1923. Family is so important in the culture. They always visit each other, help each other. Unfortunately,in 21st century , some moral values started to dissapear..Divorcing rate is increadibly increasing.Relationship between male and female is getting nasty. Inspite of the that bad picture, everthing is still nice. For instance, i have been living in US for 3 years but i take care of my dad and mom. I took responsibilty of the my sisters`s college expenses. It makes me more human,happier, stronger..
